Navigating India’s Heatwave Crisis: A Data-Driven Exploration
70 year daily temperature study for Indian Cities
India is poised for another intense hot season. As temperatures rise, communities confront increasing hazards, including public health emergencies and economic disturbances. In this blog, I have analyzed temperature, rainfall and heatwaves of a few Indian cities from 1952 to 2024 to present some insights into India’s emerging heatwave narrative.

- Ahmedabad
- Delhi
- Mumbai
- Chennai
- Hyderabad
- Bengaluru
